- Because stocks beat other investments over the long run, we should focus on stocks. Compared with other investments, stocks have a 6.9% annual return which shows that if you save your money in a bank its value will decrease due to inflation. But if you invest in the stock market your money will actually increase due to inflation.

This has shown a great example of compounding in which with more money, it's easiler to make money in the stocks.
